Amaniampong Senior High School is a mixed school and was established as a community school by the late J. C. Akosah to give access to secondary education to the people of Mampong-Ashanti and its environs.
Amaniampong Senior High School was established in 1965 and was absorbed by the Ministry of Education.
Is the vision of the school to ensure that students on admission are provided with quality education to prepare them sufficiently for the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) that facilities them to qualify for Tertiary Education at the end of their three years SHS program.
Is the mission of the school to provide a three-year comprehensive senior high school education to enable the students to acquire requisite skills and knowledge that enhance them to develop their potential and to contribute their quota towards the socio-economic development of the country?
