Liverpool Star Has Been Told To Leave The Club Even After World Cup Class Performances

Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has been advised to leave Anfield in order to play regular first-team football and fulfil his potential.

Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon says it would surely be for the best for Kelleher not to keep on trying to compete with Alisson for a place as Liverpool’s number one, and he also believes the player is already likely to have discussed this with Jurgen Klopp.

“Kelleher will need to leave Liverpool to fulfil his full potential,” Lennon said.

“It will be difficult for him to displace Alisson Becker. However, he is still young and has plenty of football ahead of him

“I’m sure he and Jurgen Klopp would have had conversations about this.”

Kelleher could be good enough to be a future number one for LFC, but it might be a long wait given how important Alisson continues to be to this team.
