President Akufo-Addo Has Finally Spoken About The 8 Dismissed SHS Students After Insulting Him

The president of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has finally intervened in the disciplinary action taken against the eight students of Chiana Senior High School.

Through the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum directed that the eight dismissed students of Chiana Senior High School be recalled and given an alternative punishment.

In a press release dated January 13, signed by the Spokesperson of the Ghana Education Service, the President intervened after the matter was brought to his attention.

“Consequently Minister for Education Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has directed the Ghana Education Service to consider an alternative disciplinary action instead of dismissal,’ the letter read in part.
