The SHS Students Who Insulted President Akufo-Addo Have Been Dismissed, Video Of Them Pleading For Forgiveness

Eight Senior High School students have been dismissed for insulting the President of Ghana.
All of them are female, they are students of Chiana Senior High School in the Kassena Nankana West District of the Upper East Region and were suspended last year before the dismissal which the Ghana Education Service says is to serve as a deterrent to other students.
They were in a viral video using vulgar and negative world about the President. They later apologize for their comments in another video, which was circulated on social media.
Ghana Education Service also apologized to the president and the general public on behalf of the students and the school.
A parent of one of the students yesterday received a letter signed by the Acting Director of the Ghana Education Service, Dr. Eric Nkansah informing them of the dismissal of their wards with immediate effect.
