There are many successful rappers and singers across the world who have not yet won a grammy awards since the beginning of their music career.

Nicki Minj is a Trinidadian-born rapper, singer, and songwriter based in the United States. She is known for her musical versatility, sharp lyrics, and animated flow in her rapping, alter egos and accents.
Nicki Minaj first gained recognition after releasing three mixtapes between 2007 and 2009.
From 2010 to 2015, she was nominated for 10 Grammys but she lost best new artist to Bon Iver in2011, and to American rapper Kendrick Lamar in all three of her nominated categories in 2015. Ever since then, she has been nominated several times but lost all. She is still trying her best to take home a Grammy award.
2. JENNIFER LOPEZ
Jennifer Lopez is an American singer, actress, and dancer. As of 2022, Lopez has sold more than 89 million records worldwide and her films have grossed a cumulative total of US$3.1 billion.
She remains the only female entertainer to have a number one album and film simultaneously in the United States. Lopez has many other awards except a Grammy awards.
Jennifer Lopez racked up back-to-back nominations for best dance recording in 2000 and 2001. But she lost to Cher’s “Believe” and Baha Men’s” Who Let the Dogs Out”.
3. SIA
Sia Kate Isobelle Furler is an Australian singer and songwriter. She started her career as a singer in the acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s in Adelaide. In 1997, when Crisp disbanded, she released her debut studio album, tilted OnlySee, in Australia.
She moved to London and provided vocals for the British duo Zero 7, Sia released her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, in 2001, and her third, Colour the Small One in 2004.
Sia has achieved a lot throughout her career but the only award she is fighting for right now is the Grammy award. Sia had nine nominations since 2012, but the singer has yet to win a Grammy.
She lost her 2017 nomination to for best song written for visual media to Lin-Manuel Miranda.
4. SNOOP DOGG
Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. known professionally as Snoop Dogg is an American rapper, media personality, actor. His fame dates back to 1992 when he featured on Dr. Dre’s debut solo single, “Deep Cover”, and then on Dre’s debut solo album, The Chronic. Snoop has since sold over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million album worldwide.
His accolades include an American Music Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and 17 nominations at the Grammy Awards.
At 17 nominations, the rapper only trails McKnight by one, but the two have even more in common. Snoop Dogg, also received his first nod in 1993 and, like McKnight, is still awaiting his first Grammy win.
5. KATE PERRY
Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, known professionally as Katy Perry is an American singer, songwriter, and television judge. She is known for influencing the pop music of the 2010s decade.
Kate Perry has been nominated 13 times over the last 10 years, but current “American Idol” judge, Kate Perry still does not have a Grammy award to adorn her mantle.
6. BJÖRK
Björk Guomundsdottir is an Icelandic singer, songwriter, composer, record producer, and actress. She is noted for her distinct three-octave vocal range and eccentric persona, she has developed an eclectic musical style over her four decade career that has drawn on electronic, art pop, experimental, trip hop classical, and avant-garde music.
Björk is among the musicians who have never taken home a Grammy Award. The Icelandie singer has been nominated 15 times since 1993, but has never brought home a Grammy.
Her most recent nomination in 2018 was for best alternative music album.
