Wayne Rooney Has Responds To Cristiano Ronaldo’s Interview

Retired former player of Manchester United, Wayne Rooney has finally responded to Cristiano Ronaldo’s explosive interview with Pier Morgan. The interview Ronaldo had with Piers brought about the ending of his time with Manchester United.
Now, Rooney looks to have extinguished the spat with his former Manchester United teammate, as he delivered a classy response to Ronaldo’s fiery comments.
“Cristiano’s a fantastic player and as I’ve said before he and Lionel Messi are the two best players probably ever to play the game,” Rooney said.
“Again, it’s not a criticism, what I’ve said is age comes to all of us and Cristiano is feeling that and he’s finding it hard to deal with that. He’s done an interview that’s gone global.”
Ronaldo made some stunning claims in his interview with Piers Morgan including a dig at his former teammate Rooney.
Ronaldo criticized Wayne Rooney directly in the interview and said: “I don’t know why he criticizes me so badly…probably because he finished his career and I’m still playing at a high level. I’m not going to say that I’m looking better than him. Which is true…”
Now Wayne Rooney has responded to Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan saying “Why don’t you come to the United States and say it to my face?”
Ronaldo has a lot to deal with and now his former teammate is coming after him.
