Edinaman Senior High School, formerly Edinaman Day School, was established in 1978 at Elmina Castle. The school moved to its current location, Paul Insert Hill in 1992. Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom and Nana Butler played a vital role in ensuring water connection to the school.
On January 2008 under the administration of Mr. Francis Amanfo, the school began its boarding system.
The mission of the school is to provide what it takes to attain the highest academic standards developing in each student the capacity for quick, reasoned responsibilities to challenges through science and technology with an emphasis on Information and Communication Technology.
The vision of the school is to be a world-class school, producing well-balanced and self-confident individuals who are capable of taking challenges in a fast-changing world and who can make maximum use of every opportunity presented to them for self-development.

Edinaman Senior High School is a Category B senior high school and one of the senior high schools in the Central Region of Ghana.
