Parents express concern after 15 teens were reported pregnant at St. Mary’s Girls Senior High School at Konongo.
Fifteen students of an all-girls second-cycle institution failed to stick to GES-approved curricula and dabbled in extracurricular activities. Now they are nursing pregnancies at different stages.
The students at St. Mary’s Girls SHS in Konongo in the Ashanti Region have caused great pain to their headmistress, who says she us upset about the situation.
Madam Martha Adjei wants the big men to leave the SHS students alone because after they deliver, it becomes extra difficult for them to continue with their education.
She explains she can’t fire them but worries that keeping them in the school would also cause problems.
